So several months ago I decided that I wanted to go through grad school. I am for the most part at the peak of my profession outside of management and I am only 24, so that leaves me with a lot of time to be un-fulfilled. With all of that in mind I decided to go back to college; although at the end of my bachelors in management and information systems I was tiered of school. I feel that I have taken a long enough break that it is time to go back.
Overall I plan on sharing with you all, my readers the journey that I experience as I go through graduate school for a Masters of Science in Technology focusing on Software Engineering. Unlike a lot of you all, I don’t have to do GRE or GMAT for grad school because I have 5 years of IT work experience, but none the less my process will be the same.
So after that decision to go back to school I started searching and decided on Central Missouri State University, largely because they are close and offer a program in an area of interest. So I contacted the head of the department that I would be applying for and asked him some basic questions.
-How long is a master?
-What kind of course work can I expect?
-What is the normal grad student schedule like?
-How do I apply?
So from there I received the application and that is for the next part.
